Anglo American reports strong growth in copper production in Q2 2023
London-based mining company Anglo American on Thursday said its copper output surged 56% in the second quarter of 2023 compared to the same period last year. Production rose to 209,000 tonnes from 134,000 t, primarily due to the ramp-up at the new Quellaveco copper mine in Peru, Kallanish learns from the company’s quarterly production report.
