Anglo-Korean battery manufacturer Eurocell EMEA wants to build, in record time, a gigafactory in Western Europe with the capacity to produce 40 million cells per year.
The new company, a joint venture between UK-based FIC EMEA and three Korean battery technology experts, Eurocell, FIC Advanced Materials and Indong Advanced Materials, says it will take just 12 months to accomplish that.
