Ark Energy breaks ground on Queensland green hydrogen hub
Australian renewable energy company Ark Energy has broken ground for the construction of its first green hydrogen project in north Queensland, Australia.
Located within the Sun Metals Green Industrial Precinct in Townsville, the first phase of the so-called SunHQ project will utilise a 1-megawatt (MW) proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyser powered by the co-located 124-MW Sun Metals solar farm.
