Australia can be an EV powerhouse: EVC-led alliance
Australia’s Electric Vehicle Council (EVC) says the country, one of the biggest battery materials producer in the world, can become an EV powerhouse, Kallanish reports.
The trade body gathered over 100 companies in the supply chain to promote the push to get 1 million EVs on Australian roads by 2027. It argues that a domestic EV industry building batteries, chargers, cars, buses, and trucks would benefit both the economy and the climate.
