Australia's Lefroy raises fund to advance nickel project
Australian miner Lefroy Exploration has received firm commitments to raise AUD 6.2 million ($3.97m) to advance its nickel and gold projects at Location 45 in Western Australia, Kallanish learns.
The company said in a statement that the funds were raised through a “heavily oversubscribed” placement to institutional and sophisticated investors. This includes AUD 465,000 from Lefroy directors.
