Australia’s Fortescue plans US expansion, citing IRA benefits
Australian mining and green energy company Fortescue has announced plans to expand across the US and invest $35 million into a manufacturing centre in Michigan.
The forthcoming centre will be a major hub for producing fast chargers, hydrogen generators, electrolysers and automotive and heavy industry batteries. The project will benefit from Inflation Reduction Act-linked tax credits, offering up to $10/kilowatt-hour, Kallanish learns.
