AVL, Red Bull to develop high-density fuel cells
Mobility technology company AVL said Tuesday it has partnered with Red Bull Racing’s high-performance arm to develop “ultra-high-power density” fuel cell technology for high-performance mobility, motorsport and aviation.
Under the partnership, AVL and Red Bull Advanced Technologies plan to develop a proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell system for high-performance applications “that exceeds those currently available.”
