Ballard bags major fuel cell engine order from Solaris
Canada-based fuel cell solutions provider Ballard Power Systems has bagged orders to provide Polish bus manufacturer Solaris Bus & Coach with 96 hydrogen fuel cell engines, Kallanish reports.
The undisclosed deal announced by Ballard on Tuesday includes 52 fuel cell modules to power Solaris Urbino hydrogen buses for deployment in Germany; and 44 engines to power Solaris buses in European cities.
