Basf selects Canadian site for North American battery materials expansion

German chemical giant Basf has chosen Canada as a base to expand its battery materials and recycling expansion in North America, Kallanish reports. The company has secured land for a new cathode active materials (CAM) plant in Bécancour, Quebec.
