Belgian company eyes €1.1 billion Bulgarian battery plant
Belgium-based Avesta Battery & Energy Engineering (ABEE) intends to invest €1.1 billion ($1.18 billion) in the production of lithium-ion batteries in Bulgaria, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov announced after a meeting with representatives of the potential investor this week, Kallanish notes.
