Bentley delays all-electric target amid weaker market conditions
British luxury car brand Bentley said Tuesday it is delaying its plan to transition to all-electric vehicles by a year or two, as hybrid models make a longer run past 2030, Kallanish reports.
The Crewe-based carmaker had planned to sell BEVs only by 2030, but changes in market conditions and a delay in its first EV seem to have gotten in the way. It confirmed its first BEV will be introduced towards the end of 2026, instead of next year as first planned.
