BMW starts FCEV prototype tests in South Africa
South African chemicals company Sasol, Anglo American Platinum and BMW Group South Africa have started a fuel cell electric vehicle fleet, Kallanish reports.
The BMW iX5 Hydrogen pilot fleet in South Africa is described as a cross-industry alliance to drive forward the green hydrogen economy. Primarily, the trial seeks to demonstrate value chains and projects, “moving from industrial policy to real-world applications,” BMW says in a statement.
