BMW to boost its EV portfolio share to 20% by 2023
Germany’s BMW Group is planning to have over 7 million electrified vehicles (EVs) on the road by 2030, with these vehicles making up for 20% of its production lineup by 2023.
“We are significantly increasing the number of electric vehicles. Between 2021 and 2023, we will build a quarter of a million more electric cars than originally planned,” ceo Oliver Zipse said late last month.
