BMW to double EV models by 2023
German automaker BMW Group plans to double the number of its electric vehicle (EV) models over the next two years, Kallanish reports.
The company currently offers 13 EVs, comprised of battery (BEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models, which was boosted by the launch of the fully-electric MINI and BMW iX3 models in 2020. BMW states that it plans to grow its range 25 models by the end of 2023, over half of which will be fully electric.
