bp opens its first global truck charging facility in Germany
bp said Wednesday it has opened its first-ever ultra-fast charging facility dedicated for electric trucks, after close collaboration with Daimler Truck, Kallanish reports.
The two ultra-fast charging points, located at its subsidiary Aral pulse’s retail site at Schwegenheim in Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany, will offer 100% renewable power to medium and heavy-duty trucks. The 300-kilowatt chargers could add around 150-200 kilometres in range during a driver’…
