bp to partner with Volkswagen to tackle EV range anxiety
British oil major bp plans to team up with Volkswagen to tackle electric vehicle “range anxiety” by offering ultra-fast charging infrastructure to Volkswagen drivers in Europe.
The companies are evaluating a partnership and expect to announce final details into the deal in the coming months, Kallanish reports. The strategic collaboration is to be based on the development of a charging network at bp retails sites in the UK, Germany and elsewhere.
