Britishvolt extends contract with WMG to speed up route to market
Britishvolt said Wednesday it has signed a multi-million-pound deal with WMG, an academic department of the University of Warwick, to accelerate its route to market, Kallanish reports.
The parties will work to jointly develop battery cell technologies under a two-year programme, which follows an initial 12-month project. The UK battery start-up is building a gigafactory in Northumberland, North East of England, which at full capacity should reach 38 gigawatt-hours…
