Britishvolt, InoBat rumoured to be negotiating UK gigafactory site
UK’s battery start-up Britishvolt is reportedly in talks to sell its UK gigafactory site in northeast England to Slovakian battery company InoBat Auto.
Citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter, Bloomberg said Britishvolt is seeking to divest its 93-hectare (230-acre) lot in Cambois, Northumberland, due to a dim outlook.
“The talks suggest Britishvolt’s high-flying ambitions could be in trouble,” the report adds.
