Britishvolt on track to start UK battery production by late 2023
Electric vehicle battery start-up Britishvolt says it remains on track to start production of lithium-ion batteries in the UK by the end of 2023, scaling up to full 30 gigawatt capacity in 2027.
The update on its development in Northumberland, on the northeast coast of England, comes as the company announces a partnership with three regional universities to explore R&D and education collaborations.
