Britishvolt, Posco Chemical eye cooperation on battery materials supply
UK battery start-up Britishvolt said Thursday it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Posco Chemical for the potential supply of battery raw materials, Kallanish reports.
The MOU targets a joint development agreement (JDA) for the supply of cathode and anode materials for pilot and volume production of battery cells. It includes provision for a joint materials testing and EU localisation, “where practical,” says Britishvolt.
