Britishvolt to open battery scale-up facility in West Midlands
Britishvolt will open a battery scale-up facility in the West Midlands to ensure cells are production-ready to be manufactured in larger volumes at its Northumberland planned factory.
The UK battery start-up says it will create a “battery corridor” between the new facility and its cell manufacturing site at Cambois. It will invest over £200 million ($252.7m) with partner Prologis to make that happen, Kallanish reports.
