Britishvolt to use Siemens’ tech in UK battery gigafactory
UK’s Britishvolt will use Siemens’ technology and simulation tools to develop Britain’s first battery manufacturing gigafactory, Kallanish learns.
Under the exclusive technology collaboration deal announced on Friday, Siemens UK will provide Britishvolt with access to its automation, electrification solutions and Digital Twin manufacturing execution technology. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
