Bulgaria targets 250 EV charging stations within 5 years
Bulgaria’s electric system operator (ESO) plans to build nearly 250 EV charging stations throughout the country within five years, Kallanish notes.
The €93 million ($101m) project will offer electricity produced from emission-free sources to EV drivers in the country. To ensure the implementation of the investment, ESO applied for financing from the EU’s Modernisation Fund.
