BYD reduces shifts in Xi'an, Shenzhen
Chinese automaker BYD is reportedly reducing shifts in its automotive factories in Xi'an and Shenzhen, China, Kallanish learns from Reuters.
According to the source, BYD reduced the working days for some of the workers at its Xi'an manufacturing hub to four days a week, two eight-hour shifts per day. It also reduced the number of shifts at its Shenzhen factory, a major base for its popular Han model, from three shifts to two.
