BYD tops May sales among Chinese 'new force' with 240,220 units
In May, Chinese new energy vehicle company BYD topped in sales ranking among the so-called Chinese new force automakers with 240,220 deliveries.
BYD sales increased 109% on-year and about 14.68% on-month.
In the first five months of this year, the carmaker sold over 1 million NEVs, an on-year increase of 97.63%. The performance also made BYD the first NEV company in China to reach over 1m sales volume this year.
