CATL may build battery factory in Mexico
CATL is weighing at least two potential spots for constructing a new battery factory in Mexico, according to Bloomberg. The new factory will most likely be used to supply electric vehicle batteries for US automakers Ford and Tesla.
The two potential sites are both located near the border of the state of Texas in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua State of Mexico, and Saltillo, Coahuila State of Mexico, Kallanish learns.
