CATL to mass produce M3P batteries in 2023
Chinese battery giant CATL plans to mass produce M3P batteries in 2023, Kallanish learns.
The M3P batteries are expected to have higher energy density. The cell energy density is said to be 20% higher than that of lithium iron phosphate. The mileage range can reach 700 kilometres after one charge. The cost is also going to be lower.
So far, the detailed composition and ratio of the chemicals of this type of battery haven't been officially released…
