Celsius secures licence renewal for Namibia cobalt project
Australia-listed Celsius Resources has secured a two-year renewal of the exclusive prospecting licence for its Opuwo cobalt-copper project in Namibia, Kallanish finds.
Owned by Celsius’ Namibian subsidiary, Opuwo Cobalt Holdings, the Opuwo project is located around 730 kilometres northwest of the Namibian capital, Windhoek. A 2021 mineral resource estimate of the project reported 225.5 million tonnes at a grade of 0.12% cobalt, 0.43% copper, and 0.54% zinc. …
