Chery joins NEV price reduction trend
Chinese automaker Chery has cut its new energy vehicle prices, following BYD and Changan Auto, Kallanish learns.
The price reduction ranges from CNY 8,000-11,000 ($1,160.27-1,595.37). The QQ ice-cream model had a CNY 8,000/vehicle discount, and the selling price is only CNY 31,900/unit after all discounts; the discount for Chery's mini EV Xiaomayi (little ant) is CNY 10,000/vehicle and that for the Wujie Pro is CNY 11,000/vehicle.
