Chile's copper production remains weak in August

Chile saw its copper output fall on-month for the third consecutive month in August. Volume also remained weak on-year, Kallanish notes. The latest data by the Chilean national copper commission Cochilco shows that copper output reached 415,500 tonnes in August. This volume was down 1.8% over July and 47,300 t down on-year.
