China's NEV sales exceed expectations in August
Chinese new energy passenger car sales exceeded expectation in August, with volumes more than doubling year-on-year, Kallanish reports.
Latest data released by China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) shows that retail sales of NEVs reached 529,000 units last month – an increase of 111.2% on-year and 8.85% on-month. Wholesale volumes were up 103.9% on-year and 12% on-month at 632,000 units.
