Chinese battery-grade lithium carbonate drops below CNY 500,000/t
In China, the average market price of battery-grade lithium carbonate has dropped below CNY 500,000 ($73,815)/tonne. According to 100ppi.com, the price further declined by about 2.99% to CNY 499,600/t on Friday during the past week.
It may drop back to about CNY 200,000/t, or even lower, according to Cui Dongshu, secretary general at the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).
