Chinese battery-grade lithium carbonate price hits record high again
Chinese domestic battery-grade lithium carbonate price has reached a new record high, according to multiple market price information agencies.
The Shanghai Metals Market states the 99.5% battery-grade lithium carbonate had a price increase of CNY 2,000 ($274.02)/tonne on 31 October. The spot price increased to about CNY 549,000-567,000/t with the average price being CNY 558,000/t. Mysteel posted the average price as CNY 561,500/t on the same day.
