Chinese firms secure further mining licences in Zimbabwe
The Zimbabwe Development Agency has reportedly awarded Chinese firms mining and energy licences worth $2.79 billion in the third quarter.
According to Bloomberg, the agency said on Wednesday China accounted for over two-thirds of the 180 applications, which include lithium projects. Within the total planned investment, around $411 million has been earmarked for mining.
