Chinese lithium carbonate futures prices drop below CNY 150,000/t
Futures prices of lithium carbonate listed at the Guangzhou Futures Exchange have all dropped below CNY 150,000 ($20,615.4)/tonnes on Thursday, except the contract expiring in January 2024 which just hit the CNY 150,000/t line.
The performance of other contracts with further expiry dates varied, Kallanish notes. February futures ended the day at CNY 144,550/t, while the contract for July traded at CNY 128,500/t.
