Chinese lithium carbonate prices start downtrend
Chinese battery-grade lithium carbonate prices have been easing after hitting the peak in mid-November, Kallanish reports.
According to data from China’s 100ppi, the benchmark price for battery-grade lithium carbonate (99.5%) was trading at CNY 578,000 ($82,897.15)/tonne on 8 December – this is a 1.53% drop from CNY 587,000/t on 1 December.
