COBALT: First Cobalt signs two cobalt hydroxide feed agreements
Canada’s First Cobalt Corp says it has signed two feed agreements to process cobalt hydroxide from Africa for electric vehicle battery use at its cobalt refinery in northern Ontario, Kallanish reports.
The company has signed a binding supply contract with Glencore that will provide cobalt hydroxide from Glencore’s Kamoto Copper Co mine in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for five years, beginning in the fourth quarter of 2022.
