COBALT, NICKEL: First Cobalt may develop battery park at refinery
First Cobalt is having preliminary discussions with Canadian government officials about developing a battery park in northern Ontario near its under-construction hydrometallurgical refinery, Kallanish reports.
First Cobalt, as part of its longer-term strategy, would produce nickel sulfate to attract a precursor manufacturer to what it calls a future Battery Park within the refinery footprint.
