COPPER: Giga Metals halts Brazilian drilling due to high water tables
Canada-based Giga Metals is pausing drilling at its Corrente copper property in Brazil until February 2022 because of high water tables, Kallanish reports.
The high water tables come after flooding in the Brazilian state of Piaui, which has since subsided, the company says. The water tables remain too high for effective drilling, it adds.
