COPPER: Jefferies expects copper prices to peak at $7/lb in 2025
Jefferies’ analysts have, once again, revised thier copper price estimates upwards on the back of a more positive demand outlook and worsening supply constraints, Kallanish reports.
Equity analyst Christopher LaFemina and equity associate Patricia Hove say in a note on Monday that copper is now forecast to have a peak average annual price of $7/pound ($15,432/tonne) in 2025. The previous peak was estimated at $6/lb ($13,228/t) in the same year.
