COPPER: Jefferies raises copper prices forecasts again
Jefferies Group on Monday revised up its forecast for copper prices to reflect a “positive fundamental outlook” and bullish market conditions, Kallanish reports.
Analysts at the US investment banking company said in a new report copper prices are expected to average $3.70/pound this year, which is 13.8% more than previously forecast at $3.25/lb.
Next year’s prices are now estimated at $4/lb, up 14.3% from the previous $3.50/lb price estimate. …
