Develop secures Mt Marion lithium development contract
Australia-listed Develop Global announced Friday it has secured an AUD 46 million ($30.4m) contract for the underground development of the Mt Marion lithium mine in Western Australia.
Mt Marion, a joint venture between Australia’s Mineral Resources and China’s Ganfeng Lithium, is located 40 kilometres southwest of Kalgoorlie. It has a maiden underground resource of 9.5 million tonnes at 1.52% lithium oxide, Kallanish notes.
