EIB invests €50m in Spanish EV charging infrastructure
The European Investment Bank (EIB) is investing €50 million ($61m) in Spain’s charging infrastructure for electric vehicles (EVs), Kallanish reports.
The investment will be allocated to mobile energy services firm Wenea, part of the Diggia group, to deploy over 470 EV charging stations across Spain. The funding raises Wenea’s total investment in the project to more than €100m, to increase long distance mobility in the country.
