Eni studies biorefinery, H2 plant feasibility
Italian energy firm Eni is studying the feasibility of a new biorefinery at its site in Stagno, near Livorno, Tuscany, that will include a hydrogen production facility.
The firm plans to build three new plants for hydrogenated biofuel and a facility for hydrogen production from methane. The complex will be located in an extant area of fuel and lubricant producers and construction should start by 2025, Kallanish learns from Eni.
