EVs make up 28.7% of all cars sold in September in Germany
Electric vehicles took a 28.7% market share in German new car sales during September, with registrations of fully-electric vehicles (BEVs) surpassing 30,000 units, Kallanish reports.
Latest data from Germany’s Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) shows that BEVs, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) accounted for 56,554 sales last month. The volume is 36.8% higher than in the same period last year.
