EVs will make up a third of global new car sales by 2031: study
Electric vehicle sales should account for over 33% of new car sales globally by 2031, consulting company GlobalData says in a new analysis this week.
The forecast projects a 10-fold increase in annual EV sales in the next decade and a half, particularly in China and Europe. That’s mainly due to supportive policies and automakers commitments, according to GlobalData.
