Ford resumes F-150 Lightning production after plant revamp

Ford said Tuesday it has restarted production of its F-150 Lightning electric pick-up truck following a six-week shutdown to expand and retool the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center plant in Michigan. The US carmaker now plans to triple production capacity of the model by this fall, running at an annual rate of 150,000 units, Kallanish reports.
