Foxconn to produce ECUs for Tesla at its Mexican factory: report
Taiwanese manufacturer Foxconn has reportedly received orders from Tesla for its electronic control units (ECUs), likely to be manufactured in Mexico.
According to Taiwan’s National Business Daily the technology giant plans to expand production of ECUs in its Mexican production facility. It also hopes to get orders for automotive electronic modules from Tesla, the report implies, without providing specific details about the supposed deal.
