French BEV sales almost double y-o-y
French battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales gained momentum in August after slowing in July. The country sold 9,916 units for a market share of 11.3%. This is up from August 2020’s figure of 5,590 units, according to data published by automakers’ association Filiere Automobile et Mobilité (PFA), which has taken over France’s Comité des Constructeurs Français d’Automobiles (CCFA).
