French BEV sales continue to grow amid registrations downturn
While French total car sales decreased again significantly in May, battery electric vehicle (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles’ (PHEVs) sales increased last month by 30% on-year, reaching 15,246 sales. Registrations also increased in the first five months of 2022 in an on-year comparison, according to data published by carmakers’ association Filiere Automobile et Mobilité (PFA).
